To create a sports broadcast package that transforms the idea of a team into a visual system, where individual elements build, connect, and move as one. Through a structured, hexagonal “hive” and precise, mechanical motion, the project translates the energy, discipline, and coordination of SCAD Soccer into a cohesive and powerful design language.
This project aims to elevate SCAD Athletics by delivering a package that feels intentional, high-level, and immersive—capturing the intensity of the game while reflecting the creativity and craft that define SCAD. At its core, we are accomplishing one thing: turning teamwork into motion—visualizing how separate parts come together to form something stronger.

CONCEPT 1
The concept centers on capturing Savannah’shistoric architecture and attention to detail,reflecting the city’s strong connection to itsteams and fans. The visuals draw from brickand stone textures, along with hand-crafteddetails found throughout Savannah’s historicdistrict, blended with clean, moderntypography to create a balance of tradition,experimentation, and forward-thinkingdesign—emphasizing Savannah’s uniquemix of grit, history, and modern energy.
CONCEPT 2
A single student enters SCAD with one fragile idea,stepping into a city and campus alive with movement,voices, and possibility. Through chance encounters,late-night studios, and shared moments of creation,their idea begins to multiply—lines forming patterns,patterns becoming a mandala inspired by the rhythmand symbolism of Forsyth Fountain, a historic source ofrelief, hope, and gathering. As the fountain flows, sodoes the student’s growth, their once-singular threadexpanding into something bold and interconnected,revealing a cinematic portrait of how creativity,community, and place converge to build an ever-evolving world.
CONCEPT 3
A single thread represents one student arriving at SCADwith an idea, uncertain but full of possibility. As morethreads appear and connect, they show what happensat SCAD—ideas collide through community, athletics,and shared movement—and why those connectionsmatter: they turn individual effort into somethingstronger. The threads form a mandala that embedsSCAD Athletics and ultimately resolves into the SCADlogo, revealing how creativity, discipline, andcollaboration come together to build a unified identity.

Individual shapes connect andbuild into a larger form as the camera continuouslypushes forward, revealing a design that assembles itselfthrough motion. As elements lock into a hexagonalstructure, the system becomes more defined,expressing discipline and collaboration throughmovement alone.

HOW IS SCAD REFLECTED?
1. Hexagonal Hive = TeamStructureEach hexagon is like a player—strong on itsown, but more powerful when connected. When they lock together, they form alarger system—just like a soccer formationon the field.
2 Transformation =Constant PlayIn soccer, the game is always evolving—offense to defense, player to space,moment to moment. The transforming visuals mirror thatconstant change and adaptability.
3. Mechanical Motion =Precision + StrategySoccer at a high level is about timing,positioning, and control. The mechanical, transforming movementreflects that—everything shifts withpurpose, nothing is random.
4. Engineered Aesthetic =SCAD IdentitySCAD is a design school—everything isintentional, crafted, and thought through. The clean, structured, almost “built”feeling of the package reflects thatmindset of design + discipline.
